Hope Risers Global Foundation’s Christmas Project Brings Joy to Vulnerable Nigerians

-

Hope Risers Global Foundation (HRGF) has successfully concluded its annual humanitarian initiative, Project Christmas With Hope (CWH) 2025, a nationwide outreach aimed at bringing relief, hope, and festive joy to vulnerable Nigerians. The initiative reached thousands of individuals and families across the country, including widows, orphaned children, persons living with disabilities, and those facing extreme poverty.

Under the theme “Lighting Up Lives: A Christmas of Hope and Unity,” Project CWH 2025 mobilized volunteers, resources, and local partnerships to ensure that the most marginalized communities could celebrate the holiday season with dignity and joy. The program culminated in a flagship event at the IDP Camp in Durumi, Area 1, Abuja, where HRGF Founder, Mrs. Angonimi David‑Imeh, personally engaged with beneficiaries and volunteers, sharing insights about the foundation’s mission and the impact of the initiative.

“Project Christmas With Hope was designed not only to meet immediate needs but also to remind each beneficiary that they are seen, valued, and supported,” said Mrs. David‑Imeh. “Every act of giving, no matter the scale, has the power to restore hope and transform lives.”

The initiative was executed in collaboration with a network of partner organizations, including Enitan Growth Hub, Tech Herfrica, Ivyline Care Foundation, Abila Foundation, and Pregnancy Care Support, which contributed resources, logistics, and volunteer support to reach underserved populations across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. These partnerships were essential in coordinating community-level engagement, distributing food packages, and ensuring that assistance reached the most remote and vulnerable areas.

In addition to providing essential food and supplies, Project CWH 2025 also implemented targeted interventions to address longer-term needs. In Ekiti State, for example, the foundation provided a one-year health insurance plan for a child living with sickle cell disease, ensuring access to continuous medical care. In Osun State, volunteers delivered essential items to families living in extreme hardship, bringing not only relief but also hope and encouragement.

Throughout the initiative, numerous stories emerged highlighting the profound impact of collective humanitarian efforts. In Enugu and Kebbi States, hundreds of households were reached through collaborative efforts with local NGOs such as Orchard Hub Foundation, demonstrating the critical role of grassroots partnerships in expanding the reach and effectiveness of national interventions.

Mrs. David‑Imeh emphasized that the initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger, while also laying the groundwork for future programs focused on food security, nutrition, and sustainable community development. “When compassion is combined with structured action and local engagement, it restores dignity, strengthens communities, and empowers individuals to envision a better future,” she added.
